Spinal Decompression

Non-surgical spinal decompression is a therapeutic technique used to relieve back and neck pain by gently stretching the spine. This controlled, mechanical traction reduces pressure on spinal discs, alleviating nerve compression and promoting the natural healing of injured or degenerated discs.

How Does it Work?
During treatment, a patient lies on a specialized decompression table, which applies gentle traction to the spine. This creates negative pressure within the spinal discs, encouraging rehydration, improved circulation, and the retraction of bulging or herniated discs. The process helps relieve pain and improve mobility over time.

Patient Testimonials
"When I first came to Mercer Family Chiropractic, I could barely get up from sitting and I could not walk without using a cane. After 1 treatment I could get up and down out of a chair with ease. Now after my 5th treatment I can walk further without using my cane and am able to work out 4-5 days a week. I'm getting back to feeling like my old self again."
